This Seiko Lord Marvel 5740-8000 comes to you on a new dark brown leather strap, freshly serviced, and showing excellent timekeeping. The case is in remarkable condition with a couple minor scratches and dings here and there, the acrylic crystal is in excellent condition, and the dial and hands are in good condition for their age with minor staining on the the dial. The caseback is engraved in Japanese “永年勤続表彰記念 (Commemorative long-service award 日本黒鉛工業株式会社 (Nippon Graphite Industries, Co.,Ltd.)”. Overall an excellent example of these classic early high beat 5740c calibers with an interesting history.
