What’s so special
During the Vietnam war the US government issued a request to private US manufacturers to supply equipment to troops. The MIL-W-46374 specification was one of the longest standing specs for military watches spanning from 1967 to the early 80s. The spec required a watch having an accuracy rate of 30 seconds, a minimum of fifteen jewels, luminous dial and hands, sweep second hand, second hand stop mechanism, and fabric strap. Enter the Benrus Military spec field watch.

This example comes to you freshly serviced and in excellent original condition. The dial and hands are original and wonderfully preserved with some minor wear on the top left of the dial. The parkerized stainless case and crown are almost completely untouched. Comes on a brand new black nato strap. Keeping excellent time.
